Welcome to northeast North Carolina and one of the fine alpaca farms in the area! I currently have a herd of 45 huacaya and 1 suri. I thought that my herdsize will most likely stay in the range of 20-25 animals, but it has crept up to near 45 now!
My goal is to breed these wonderful animals in an environment of low stress and good health. I started with high quality huacaya females, all bred to fine herdsires and the cria born in 2003 were beyond what I could have imagined. The spring of 2004 began with the birth of a gorgeous light brown female cria and my good fortune has continued! 2005 brought 2 more females crias and one spectacular little boy. 2006 saw the arrival of three female and one male cria, Bloodlines include progeny of Peruvian Macusani, Pperuvian Felix Accoyo, Hemingway, Elite Atlas, The Silversmith, CPeruvian Silvio, Bolivian Black Thunder, Bolivian Chieftain, Pachacuti, Glacial Storm and Casanova II. By mid 2009, it was my turn to have a boy run: 6 out of the 9 babies. Now we are into 2010, the economy dictates that breedings are done with great forethought and I want my numbers to stay near where they are now.
I can offer agistment services for anamals purchased from me. Your alpacas will be meticulously cared for and be a part of a much loved business endeavor. I am also a proud and member of AOBA (Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association) and CABO (Carolina Alpaca Breeders Organization).
