    Beech Springs' Mirth

ARI: 30480902

Med Brown w/ White markings

DOB: 10/2/07

Dam: Levity  White

Sire: Garth Vader   Bay Black

Poor Mirth sustained a femur fracture at 4 weeks of age. I think she had been stepped on. She has had surgery twice and has recuperated well. What a year she had in 2008, but now, in 2009, she is doing well. She just needed to catch up on her growth. Mirth's fiber is fine & fabulous, just like her parents'. I will wait until she is closer to 2 years of age before her first breeding.

  Fitzroy St. Rose

ARI: 31204927   White

Dam: Sky Mist  ARI: 818567   White

Sire: RC Washakie   ARI: 807118   White

I entered Fitz' fleece into his first show in June, and just found out that he placed 2nd out of 6 entries. Not bad for his first go-around!  He is a PPeruvian Felix grandson, a Peruvian Hemingway great grandson from his sire's side, and a Acero marka's Sky Pilot grandson from his dam's.

Awards:

2008: 2nd Place (6 entries) White Juvenile Fleece @ Estes Park Wool Market

2008: 4th Place (9 entries) White Juvenile Fleece @ AFCNA Fleece Show

DOB: 7/29/08

ARI: 31405690  White

Dam: My Spirit by Peruvian Superstition  ARI: 31037815  Beige

Sire: Aztec Avatar   ARI: 839747  White

In a word, Superb!

Do the lines of Hemingway, Black Magic, El Cine de Peru, and Mr President get your attention? Her sire is a color champion from Canada, her grandam, the dam of the grey color champion, Ice Capp.

    Beech Springs Summer Surprise

ARI: 31204910   Medium Brown & White

DOB: 6/11/08

Dam: Millenium White Hope  ARI: 838016  Beige

Sire:  Silver Beech  ARI: 1069020  Medium Silver Grey

This pregnancy was a complete surprise, thus her name. She has fine conformation and she is healthy and well...growing like a weed, just like a young cria should.  She may, like a similarly marked 1/2 sister (same sire), develop into a rose grey as she matures. In any event, she has a strong and solid bone structure that should lend itself to a successful career as a foundation breeder. She's now close to 100 lbs as a 10 month old!
